Occupational Therapy Assessment
Usually, Occupational Therapists, who are known as OTs, use distinct methods and procedures to maintain, gain and improve an individual’s independence. Here, the individuals consist of people of all age categories – children, teens, adults, and the elderly. Occupational therapists for our participants facilitate these individuals to perform their tasks and keep them occupied. Things like looking after themselves, doing school or office work, participating socially everywhere, being a community member, and a lot more.
At Royal Care Assist, the Occupational Therapists have focused on promoting the health and well-being of their clients (therapy-seekers) by motivating them and helping them achieve the desired goals of wellness. They try to engage them in a wide range of self-care activities. Regularly, the major and the most basic activities include bathing, cooking, dressing, doing productive activities, volunteering, monitoring, showing care for others, engaging in a favourite hobby, or being with their friend circle. The Occupational therapists are present to supervise all these activities and help the disabled wherever required.
Apart from these tasks, Occupational Therapy at Royal Care Assist includes:
– Skill Development
– Self-Management
– Home Management
– Community Re-integration
– Modification of environments (both home and work)
– Adaptation of processes
– Application of Ergonomic Principles
– Rehabilitation Assistance
– Community Mobility
– Therapeutic use of occupations
Our Occupational Therapy plays an important role to help people with special needs in identifying and implementing methods that support their participation in different activities. It keeps them motivated, and they feel that there are certain things that they can do like any other normal people.
